Terms and Conditions - Mini Sites Service
The following Terms and Conditions apply to Mini Websites provided by LJB Services. Payment for the service constitutes acceptance of these terms.
Ownership of Mini Site
- The Mini Websites service is a website rental service.
- Websites are rented for an initial period of one year which can be extended on an annual basis by payment of a renewal fee.
- Websites remain the property of LJB Services.
- Websites are not transferable to third parties.
Copyright of Mini Site
- Content provided by the client - copyright of the client.
- Layout of the website - copyright of LJB Services and not transferrable.
Format and Layout of Mini Site
The format and layout of Mini Websites will be as shown in the demo website located at: http://demo.ljbweb.com/index.htm (opens in new tab / window)
Mini Site content
- 2 x content pages
- 1 x contact form + thank you page
- 1 x terms + privacy page
Content for pages to be supplied by client in electronic format with payment. (Additional cost for content in paper format.)
Domain
- A relevant domain name will be provided for the Mini Website.
- The domain name will chosen and registered by LJB Services and does not become the property of the client.
- No company names will be contained in the domain name.
- Clients will have no right to ongoing use of the domain name.
Hosting
Hosting will be provided by LJB Services - these websites will not be hosted elsewhere and may not be transferred or copied to another web host.
E-mail
- No e-mail accounts are provided with this service.
- Clients must provide an e-mail address to which mail from the website enquiry form will be forwarded.
Cost
- Set up - £195 including 1 year of rental and initial search engine submission.
- £80 per year after year 1
- Extra cost for providing content in paper format - £20
Payment
Payment is required with booking form, by cheque only, made payable to "LJB Services".
Renewal
- A renewal invoice will be sent by e-mail and post after 10 months.
- If payment is not received by the renewal date stated on the invoice it will be assumed the service is no longer required. The website content will be removed and the domain will either be redeveloped with generic content pending use by another client, or allowed to expire.
Provision of Service
We reserve the right not to provide this service to certain business categories.
Applicable Law.
The Laws of England and jurisdiction of the English Courts are applicable.
